Help me choose!!!!!! UVA Mcintere vs Berkeley HAAS VS Michigan ROSS

Which one should i go?

Seriously i am having a headache.

Money is not the issue, the only issue is that what business school can provide better education and respect.

I know all of the schools above are excellent, but which one is the best and which one is the least.

Wow, well all of these are great schools. I don’t think you could go wrong with any choice! Personally, I would choose UVa, but I think you should look at factors like location, size, etc. to make your final decision. What aspect of business do you want to go into?

I got really lucky.

Uhhh… I am thinking about Ib’s. I am just a high school kid right now.

Heck what do i know

I looked up business week and so that virginia undergrad bus program was ranked after Wharton, which is #1 .

But still i do not know which one to decide, gosh!!

Ross=Haas>UVA. It depends though what type of business you are interested in and where you want to live after graduation.

So proably working at US for 2-3 maybe 5

i will go back to my home country.

I am thinking maybe the IB’s

rjkofnovi: Where are you getting that? Maybe for graduate school, but for undergrad UVa is definitely an equal, if not above Ross and Haas.

Regardless, you will get a pretty equal education at each of these schools. If you are looking for prestige as an international, then just choose whichever your country thinks is the “best.” I don’t recommend that route, but if you have no other way to decide…

Well in college rank Berkely–> virginia—> Michigan
And they are pretty much all renowned at my home country.

Should i go for mcintre to save money- even though not an issue

Or HAAS=Ross.

God!!! its killing me insane

Haas is a 2 year program. You apply to Haas your sophomore year. Only about half the applicants get in.

Ross is a 3 year program. You apply to Ross your freshman year. Not sure of the acceptance rate. But Ross offer prefer admit.

Not sure about McIntire.

You probably want to consider those factors. If you get Ross prefer admit, it will probably be a saver choice.

McIntire is also 2 years. Approx. 60-70% get in every year.

Why not save money if you can? I would go for UVa.

Mcintre, Ross, HAAS
2, 3, 2

I got pre-admit or admission for all.

Money is not the issue, what is the best choice anyone? (can someone back it up)

For IB or consulting, go to UVA… it’s a major target school

Whichi:
Mcintre, Ross, HAAS
2, 3, 2

I got pre-admit or admission for all.

I am confused. None of Haas, Ross, McIntire accept high school students directly except for the small number of prefer admit to Ross.

Acceptance to Berkeley, Michigan, Virgina has nothing to do with Haas, Ross or McIntire.

i meant i believe i could guarantee it.

Ross i got in as pre-admit, but ya thats what i am saying.

If your home is in Asia, I would consider Berkeley.

If you were pre-admitted into Ross, I would go to Ross. Why risk it with Haas or McIntire when you are virtually guaranteed with Ross.

As far as quality of education and IB placement, you cannot go wrong with any of those three as they are all very highly regarded.

"For IB or consulting, go to UVA… it’s a major target school "

So is Ross, even along the east coast. If you ar a pre-admit to Ross, and not to the other two schools, this is a no brainer. Particularly if cost is not an issue.

Only Michigan’s Ross is pre-admit…so I agree with Alexandre that it is the safer choice.

Berkeley probably admitted you as a “pre-business” major which does not guarantee admission to Haas.

I would pick for environment.
Berkeley Haas: <a href=“http://berkeley.edu/photos/buildings/source/image/haas.jpg ”>http://berkeley.edu/photos/buildings/source/image/haas.jpg ;
Michigan Ross: <a href=“http://blog.mlive.com/ann-arbor-business_impact/2009/01/large_012409ross.jpg ”>http://blog.mlive.com/ann-arbor-business_impact/2009/01/large_012409ross.jpg ;
Virginia McIntire: <a href=“MSN ”>MSN ;

Berkeley’s is clearly the most impressive…;)

^^^Disagree. Ross has a brand new building and is completely state of the art.

^ “State of the art” as in Herman Miller ergonomic chairs and a new projector for cheesy PowerPoint presentations. :rolleyes:

Herman Miller, a fine Michigan based company. Ross is loaded with fine artwork. C’mon UCB, you know they’re comparable.
