Help me out PLEASE!!

ok not only i'm i freaking out about the whole application process but now i feel worse.

To be brief, UF visited my school yesterday they told us they recaluculated gpa, i already knew that, but the curveball was the the only recalulate 9-11 grades.

Also they said they give bonus points for ib/ap/honors classes aslong as the transcipt denotes the class as an ib class, but my student history has some ib classes and ap classes without the ap/ib title infront for example, my transcript saids, theory of knowledge not ib theory of knowledge, or spanish literature not ap spanish literature so the last thing i need is for them to think its a regular class and then i wouldn't get the bonus points.

So to conclude,my question is whether or not most schools are like uf and they only recalculate 9-11 grades, i thought 1st semester of 12th grade was included in that calculation. And also should i email the admission office for UF and ask if the way my transcript denotes certain classes they will know that its an ap class?

First, all schools vary, some recalc 9-11 grades, some don't include 9th grade in the calc at all...Some include 12th grade, some don't. Yes, I would email admissions office and ask about transcript OR talk to your HS guidance counselor...Since you are instate, your GC should have the answers you need.

have you asked the registrar at your school about it...that is where I would start, them or your counselor

maybe its a programming thing, maybe GC can note the classes, etc...but go to school first and just ask the question

Thank you, i've asked in two different forums on CC and no one had answered.

FSu-UF don't forget that you may have to be a bit "pushy" with your GC, many HS GC's are very busy but if you take the initiative, appeal to them that you really need their help, I think you will get the answers you need. They aren't going to come find you to ask if you have questions, you have to get an appointment, or get with them and tell them you WANT to do this and you have questions.

well yea the thing is that our gc is new, so she still barely knows whats going on; so i have a feeling that i'm going to have to go to the head ib coordinator, who has the worst temper in the whole school . either way i really appreciate you opinion.
