Help Me!!! Please Chance Me for UPenn Early Decision

I really like Penn, and know that its a reach. I’m worried that if I apply ED and don’t get in, I’ll screw up my (relatively higher) chances of getting into my other top schools if I pick one to apply ED (Colorado College, Emory, Wake Forrest, Hamilton)
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Independent Study: An Analysis and History of the LGBT Rights Movement and Culture in Birmingham This will be a 40 or so page paper that I will write the first semester of Senior year and submit to the Concord Review

Work: Intern for a Birmingham Mayoral Candidate, worked roughly 200 hours canvassing, phonebanking, and assisting with the candidate’s debate / public speaking preparation

I mean, UPenn is a reach for everybody! I think you have a good shot though. Your grades are a little low, although the upward trend will help. I think your ECs are great and your test scores are okay. Being from Alabama may help, but I’m from one of the most over-represented states, so I’m not 100% sure. I think you have a good chance…but don’t be discouraged if you’re not accepted!

Good luck!

Thanks for the input!
