Help me please.. Major/concentration choice

Hey everyone,

I'm going to be a sophmore in college this fall at Towson University, in Maryland. It's a average school overall except for it's Accounting program which is highly rated, and was ranked top 10 last year is CPA exam success and was ranked 1st in two of the four categories. Anyway, my question is, I am interested in investments, and financial planning, not as much accounting. But I believe accounting is my route to a good business school after college, atleast from the school I'm at. Would it be better for me to stick with accounting, get a job with a good firm, perhaps one of the big four if i can muster it. Then later go back and get an M.B.A. in economics, or finance, then move into the market place more. Or, should I change into a finance major, minor in econ or possibly math. I have a strong background in math with a 790 sat math and I wouldn't have a problem doing that. I'm not quite sure what it is I want to do after school, but I do know that I'm interested in investments, portfolio management, financial planning, and possibly banking, and accounting as a backup. I'm just not sure the best way to go about it to bring about the best results career and money wise as fast as possible. If you have any suggestions thanks.
