<p>A while ago someone posted the colleges that looked at the writing section and those that did not. Can someone post that list again (it was huge. I believe it was from kaplan or something.. thanks!). Because I got a 1490 on old SAT but a 2180 on new..... the new one is so bad for me..
ALSO can someone post the colleges that REQUIRE 3 subject tests. Like I know harvard is one and maybe princeton. But can someone tell me other colleges as well? Please thanks a lot. I have been dieing.</p>

<p>Yale gives the writing section no weight? As in doesn't look at it?! How did they compile this list?</p>

<p>Wow thankyou man!!! Also backfire. Did you reach your goal in CR? I sure did. I made it past in fact! Also is this for the 2010 class or 2011.... i am still a bit worried but more reassured because I applied to MIT and got a 2180 which is pretty bad... but M + CR = 1490 which is definetly in MIT range.</p>

<p>no lol. I think collegeboard messed up my scores big time for some reason... i am seriously considering hand scoring... cause i know that the pencil they gave me sucked, and i ended up changing like 5-8 answers and the bubbles were dark in other areas.</p>

<p>im so upset... that i went down/stayed the same in all areas because it was my 4th time taking the test and i was practically 100% sure i did better.</p>

<p>i have 4 options... not retake and leave my 2030 there and submit to the collegeboard.</p>

<p>grrr... wow i feel really bad that i messed up after taking it 4 times. i might be crazy to consider taking it 5 times dont you think?</p>

<p>Oh crap.... Upenn is also counting writing. this is horrible! it depends backfire. where are you applying? If its IV league schools then YES retake. If its those colleges that are high up there then you will most likely need a 2100 and then you will be on the "safe" side. You won't have to worry then because anything after about a 2100 or 2200 is not going to be TOO detrimental in your chances to a so-so to top school.</p>
