Can you major in economics and still apply to med/pharm/denitstry schools? Is it even possible to do all the pre required courses while majoring in something like economics or business?

Yes. And it will score you diversity points, caus believe it or not, med school likes diversity too.

Pre-med/dent/pharm means you can major in anything. Just as long as you take the pre req's... and it will score you diversity points even bigger if your an URM.

hm.... just a simple comparison ... who has great income? Dentist or Pharmacist?

I think dentist. Plus you got to hire attractive women who are at your service for 24/7 relaxation. JK JK

Dentist have way higher income....if you have a successful practice where as a Pharmacist has a fixed income. They work at places like Walgreens and stuff. I think they top off at 60,000 a year where a dentist could make 500,000 a year with a good practice.

i know someone who wants to go to med school whos currently majoring in political science.

Actually Pharmacist median salary is about 90,000 but they can make much more or less if they operate their own store. But you were right about dentists making more about average 120,000
