<p>I live in california and parents will pay around 30k.</p>
<p>3.87 u/w gpa / ~4.3 weighted gpa
2180 sat (800 M/700 CR/ 680 W) (retaking in dec)
30 act(probably won’t send)
750 Math II/ 730 U.S. History / 700 Chem (going to take math/chem again in nov)
3 on AP Chem / 4 on AP U.S. History
Senior schedule:
Regular Lit/AP CalcBC/ AP French/APCS/physics Honors/economics(1st sem)/AP gov(2nd sem)</p>

<p>Have you run the net price calculator on each school, shown the EFC to your parents, and been told by them that they will pay the EFC? Without that, we’re just guessing.</p>
<p>Doubt Michigan or UT-Austin will be affordable. If I were you I would run the net price calculator for the 3 OOS schools and see if the number comes close to what your parents will pay. If not, drop them. Your decision will be made for you based on finances.</p>
<p>I doubt you can make CMU or UWash affordable, either. Neither school is known for its generosity.</p>
<p>Ah, missed CMU on the list. I agree… your challenge will be to find 2 schools on that list that are affordable, not to find reasons to knock schools off.</p>
<p>Put Cal Poly SLO and SJSU as safety, they will be the most affordable CS schools in CA.</p>
<p>Other than that, sky is the limit for you to choose.</p>
<p>Take those OOS publics off. They won’t be affordable.</p>
<p>Are you WANTING to go OOS? Is that a big deal for you?</p>
<p>Alabama would offer you full tuition and 2500 for each of four years. Might be affordable.</p>
