I will take AP computer science this Fall, any online courses, books recommend for preparing? I don't have any knowledge about computer programming!

Programming: with Microsoft VisualBasic.NET
Programming: C++ Programming
Programming: VisualBasic.NET
Multimedia: Web Design

Which of these four courses is the most helpful?

Uh, really, none of them will end up being helpful since you'll be learning Java (maybe the C++ one). But unless there's a prerequisite for the class at your school, I don't think you not knowing programming will become a big deal.

Yeah I didn't know any programming and was fine going into AP Comp Sci. It really just makes sense and can be very logical. I just used the Barron's review book during the summer to familarize myself a bit.

But when will Barron's review book (2008 edition) comes out?

According to this - http://www.amazon.com/Barrons-Computer-Science-2008-CD-ROM/dp/0764193503, August

So is that worth to buy both the CD-ROM and the book?
