Physical Education 2
Health 2
Spanish 3
Honors British Literature
Honors Anatomy
AP Microeconomics
AP Calculus AB
AP Chemistry

I have done Spanish 1 and Spanish 2 already, and these courses listed above are the ones for my junior year of high school. Physical Education and Health are required. Should I drop Spanish 3 and instead take AP Government/Politics ?

From the looks of it you have a really busy schedule! I’d say if you keep taking all those AP and honors classes along with good SAT and ACT scores you should be good to go :)

You can replace your spanish 3 AP class If You Are Able To Justify it. I heard that some school now require to double up on social studies, meaning you must take AP micro, dual enrollment history, and AP gov. I understand your point maybe to just double up next year and you won’t have to worry for senior year. However, 3 ap already is very difficult and another will just stress you out. What I would do is take spanish 3. I believe it’s a core subject so it’s good to be safe. If you can get straight As with the classes you are taking and do well on AP exams, You Will Be Set My friend. Good luck and don’t quit!

@T26E4 @MYOS1634 @WasatchWriter I understand that Spanish is an important subject, but I would like more room in my schedule for other classes of my interest, such as physics courses. Should I do Spanish 3, OR should I just not do Spanish 3, study Spanish and take the AP Spanish exam (more proof of proficiency so I don’t have to do a fourth year of spanish). Also, how can I take AP classes that are not offered at my school?
