Does USC have an official appeal process. I have so many things to say but I need help consolidating it all into a page. Please help I really need your help.

appeal for admission or financial aid?

I don't know about the former, but the latter, just about all schools have financial aid appeal processes.

Please you guys I have it written out but I need some help. I really want to hurry and get it sent quickly to help my chances. Will you please help me?

It's become pretty clear over the last few days that no one really knows much about the appeals at USC. I think you need to call USC to get more information.

no no the rejection letter clearly tells you what you need to do to appeal, but i just need help with my statement. wanna help?

i sent in my appeal this morning. unfortuanately no one can really help you with yours since its totally individual. For example, my letter, if presented in your defense would not make sense.

just be sincere =D

Honestly, this letter is all you. The statement included in the rejection envelope has everything else you need to know, doesn't it?

Are appeals reviewed as they are sent in or are they all reviewed at a certain later date?

And if you don't get accepted, transfer next year!

do we have to send in money for the appeals?

yes. in order to get in on appeal, you have to mail them a check for about 50 million to build a new insert random academic program here complex :)

why would they charge for an appeal? they charged the first time lol

can we transfer as sophomores? or is it only juniors

For appealing, do we just write about what new things we have done senior year, or new info that they do not know about us?
Or can we also write about how much we want to go to USC and why?
Or a little bit of both..?

Is the page we write double spaced or single?

Trips, I think we can transfer as sophomores, but it might be hard because they will only have one year of grades to judge your acceptance on.
Or something to that extent. =/

so ima have to pay like 100+ to apply both sophomore year and junior year if i dont get in on my second attempt? the first being right out of highschool

rem4lyfe08:

As a student who was accepted on appeal, feel free to ask me any questions you have about the process.

To others:

Sophomore transfer is entirely possible, and in fact, even encouraged by USC. That means you apply DURING your freshman year of college. They will request you send in your HS grades, BUT, admissions will place much, much more focus on your first year grades. What typically happens is they receive your application, review it, and ask you to supply your spring term grades. After receipt of that, they will conduct a final evaluation and give you your long awaited ADMISSION (hopefully!).

Realize however, that if you were exasperated by this HS application process, you will be doubly so with the transfer one - decisions are not made until mid-summer.

mrgorilla, what was your reason that allowed you to appeal and eventually be reversed by USC?

Family circumstances; however, I think the predominant factor was my 4.0 cumulative GPA.

o okays thank you

mrgorilla, if you got accepted for the spring semester, is it possible to appeal to get in for fall semester?
