Help Me With My College List! (International Relations or Biology)

Hey everyone!

I’m a junior living in CT, and I’m hoping to follow my dreams to become a Foreign Service Officer.

So, I’m looking fo good colleges that offer good international relations or affairs programs. However, to make my parents happy, I want to also have a school that is strong for bio majors for a backup.

So far, my list is:

Tufts
USC
American University
NYU
George Washington University
University of Connecticut

However, I want to keep it realistic, as I know most of my schools might be reaches. I currently have a 3.7 UW GPA, and I took 3 AP classes this year, 5 more next senior year. I’m currently waiting for my SAT scores to come in.

Georgetown SFS might be a good school to consider. Top of the top schools for IR, top feeder school for the Foreign Service, and the only school to offer a Foreign Service degree.

@hhjjlala Georgetown’s program is definitely the best… pretty sure my chances are slim though :frowning:
