Right now, I’m stuck between 3 choices:
- UBC - Biology
- U of Alberta - Neuroscience
- UWaterloo - Biology Co-Op
Please give me pros and cons of each option!
Thanks in advance!

Waterloo will be the most different of the three. You will spend every summer, except for the first, either working or studying. It will take 5 years to finish your degree. During the work terms and the study terms, there will be additional courses, essays and fees related to co-op. I would only go there if you intending not to go to grad school. You will get industry experience, not research experience.
The biggest difference between UBC and UA is the location.
These are all very good universities. Have you visited? What do you think are the pros and cons?
I don’t think that there is a bad choice (assuming that you can deal with three very different winter climates).
It would help to know more about you. Are you Canadian? Where do you live? What are your expectations? Those are 3 very different locales, thousands of miles away from one another. BTW, you could do worse than to be “stuck” between those three schools.
