<p>Florida has a lot of colleges :)</p>

<p>However, your stats are fine, so…</p>

<p>UF and U-Miami are High Matches. Your GPA and Test scores ok, but your class rank hurts you a bit with UF. UF likely limits offers to a Top % of your class (top 10% or there about). However, your EC’s could make up for your ranking. Being a URM (under-represented minority), and first gen also helps at UF (which uses holistic admissions).</p>

<p>All other public universities in Florida would be Matches or Safeties. Other than FSU (and UF), you are also likely to be award some amount of merit aid (if you apply soon…).</p>

<p>Most of the other private colleges would be matches.</p>

<p>Thanks a lot, i really wanna go to FSU. Most people say my essay was stellar so that might help. I regret my GPA being kinda low but I have taken a lot of APs which should help with rigor</p>

<p>If Florida State is your goal I suggest you make a personal appointment with Admissions. Take all your scores and grades and your Mom.</p>

<p>In General? USF ranks about equal to UCF. US News has both schools ranked at #170, (with West Virginia).</p>

<p>That’s good cause I got accepted into USF and I’m trying to see where that leaves me with UCF.</p>

<p>I would think if you got accepted to USF, you’ll also get accepted into UCF. I think you should also apply for FSU if that is where you really want to go because you have a pretty decent shot at getting in.
The way I would rank the schools you listed is like this:
FSU
USF
UCF
UNF
FAU</p>

<p>I think FSU is the top choice, but USF and UCF are also pretty good. I personally liked USF better than UCF, when I toured they just seemed more put together and very helpful.</p>
