Help! (midyear reports question)

Hello all --

I have yet to send out my midyear reports, even though many of them were due on February 1st. I couldn't make this deadline regardless, because my school didn't publish 1st semester grades until the 2nd. Anyways. I got an A in History but it shows up as a B on my transcript. I am absolutely positive it is an A, and my teacher is absolutely positive it is an A, he said he just must have messed up when entering grades. So, I do not want to send out my midyear reports yet, since the grades are not accurate. He says that he will correct it by this Friday. Would colleges be really irate if I didn't send out my midyear reports until then? Is it worth it to wait for him to change the grade?

Thanks!

Have your guidance counselor send a note about how an error had to be corrected.

And don't worry, even though their deadline says the 1st, they realize that a lot of schools don't have reports available at that time.

Yeah my counselor said to wait another week before asking for mid-year reports.

My schools claim the 2nd week of February... the due date..

Relax. My daughter's school will not send any mid-year reports till mid-next week (they will have no grades untill then and then it will take some time to send reports for 800 kids each applying to 10 or so schools). And this is not very unusual. Mid-February is OK. Get your report corrected.
