Help! MSA at Fordham vs MSA at Maryland

I got admission from both Fordham and Maryland. Could you please give me some adivice about which one to choose?

I am an international applicant and I want to stay at America and to find a decent job after I graduate. Concerning the emploment rate of international, I prefer to choose Fordham University at NY. I heard that MSA students at Fordham tend to get good jobs in NY. Is that true? How about the network of accounting community?

What's your opinion?

Any advice will be appreciated~

Help Please~

“I want to stay at America and to find a decent job after I graduate”

You may want to do this, but the fact remains that after you complete any training that is permitted in your visa status, unless you find an H1B (work) visa sponsor, you will have to leave. In order to find out how many of the international graduates of each program are successful at finding visa sponsors, you should contact the career center at each university and ask that specific question.

Great thanks~ I will contact the career center asap~
But university’s network play an important role in helping graduates to seek jobs, isn’t it?

The university network can only help you so far. At some point you will need an H1B, or you won’t be able to work here any longer. You absolutely must have a plan for using this degree in your own country, or you shouldn’t come here. It just isn’t worth it for you.

You also need to know that you must be able to articulate your plan for how you will use your degree at home, or when you go to the interview for your student visa your application will be rejected. You will not get a student visa unless the interviewer believes that you intend to leave the US after completing your studies.

Tks for your advice~ I have decided to go to Fordham. Because I choose NY~ I have another qustion. Can I do part-time job when I study at school? Is there any restriction on the time of doing part-time job? I heard that international students’ work time is limited.

There are specific rules about where you can work, and how many hours. Here is a summary put together by the international student office at one university.
