Oh I have been living in US for 4 years now. Completed 4 years of high school in us, was out of school for a year in middle school in australia bc of visa problem ( i lived there for 2 years-and when i took a test, they told me to follow my fellow students’ age group). I am living in VA right now.
I was thinking of applying to bennington since it was one of the colleges that said it would offerefinancial aid to international students…i guess not then
4.17 is weighted GPA. My subject scores-us history, word history, math II-are not the greatest either. Gah. More i write this, more depressed i become. (High 600s , >650)
Should I try to take the january sat? I feel like it would be too late though. My scores were 640 writting 650 reading and 710 mathematics. And considering how i had 1820 in october sat…and i pushed it up to here, i dont know.
I already know that these writting and reading scores are maximum even if i take it again . Even my practice scores were arond these scores. I tried everything i could do within my financial limits but those scores are it. Sadly.
I have gotten 800 on math section couple of times but would 90+ make difference now?
I was thinking of retaking subject tests (bio and math II)
I did well in Ap Biologoy- A- (which is considered really good in our highschool as the teacher makes it nearly impossible to get an A)
And ap us history? I was the only one in class to get a 5.
And the rest boring ap classes, i did ok. I took ap lang, ap world, currrenly taking ap chem, ap calc ab, ap econ, ap gov.
