Help on college list

<p>I am a rising senior in high school right now, and am starting to put a heck of a lot of thought into where I want to go for college. I figure I may as well post here and perhaps get a few suggestions on where I should start looking.</p>

<p>My test scores are decent, but my GPA and class rank are...rather low.</p>

<p>GPA: 3.125 (UW) / 3.438 (W)
Class Rank: 361 / ~1000
SAT: 1400/1600 and 2120/2400
ACT: 34 composite
SAT II: 780 US History, 770 Literature
Class rigor: 11 AP courses as of senior year. Mostly honors otherwise.</p>

<p>Extra-curriculars:
-Community service - roughly 300 hours, mostly through my local church.
-Amnesty International: member of local chapter, no leadership role as of yet.
-Key Club: member of local chapter, 50+ hours of servicework (included in community service above). No leadership role.</p>

<p>Job:
-Worked at an ice cream parlor summer of junior year. </p>

<p>Misc:
-I am interested in an economics major, or alternatively a business/finance/accounting major.
-I will be pursuing graduate studies, most likely law.
-I prefer larger schools, with no preference between public and private. I am more interested in academics, however, and favor an academically-superior LAC over an inferior university.
-While it may not be evident here, I'm rather talented as a writer. I will have an advantage at any college that weights its essay more than usual.</p>

<p>What about Clemson? (Is there anything else your lookng for in a school? You didn’t get much info)</p>

<p>you probably know this already but if you enter your stats at princetonreview, they find a match for you based on spa, sats, majors, school size, etc… this is the web address [Test</a> Prep: GMAT, GRE, LSAT, MCAT, SAT, ACT, and More](<a href=“http://www.princetonreview.com/com.aspx]Test”>http://www.princetonreview.com/com.aspx). Best of luck!</p>
