Help! Planning to major in Architecture without physics and pre-calculus in high school!

Because I am in the IEP program for a long time, I never expected it to hinder my future. I am a senior in high school and right now i have no science and I am learning trig/Alg 2 because I had two year algebra which was a complete waste of time. I took living environment in freshmen year, then Earth Science and then a non regents science course in Junior year.

What should I do?

Definitely, if you can, try to get physics and pre calculus into ur schedule by speaking with your counselor. I’m not sure when school started for you, but it is still pretty early in the year and it may be possible. Also, physics and precalc usually arent pre requisites for architecture programs unless they are top schools(cornell, carnegie mellon), while mid tier arch programs would like to see those courses in ur schedule though.

Thanks, but I can’t get physics in my schedule unless I take the chemistry regents. I never had chemistry class, just Biology, Earth Science and environmental science. Same goes for math, I have to take trig regents to get pre cal. I heard that I have to work harder in college when they teach physics and pre cal. But I will try. :)
