Hi all,

I am just very confused and frustrated, I never thought it would be like this..

This summer I took a business statistic course at another institution and passed the course with a C-. I want to major in business and my school established a new "secondary admission policy" in which students needs to apply to the business school during the fall quarter of their Sophomore year. If you are not in then you cannot take any business courses. One of the admission requirement is STAT I and STAT II.

My plan was to take the STAT I course during the summer and take STAT II during the fall quarter, so I can still catch up with the admission deadline. I checked the business degree planner found at the business college, credits are accepted with a grade C- or above.

As I have said, I passed the STAT I course with a C-. But today the office of registrar officer said that he cannot transfer this course because the university transfer policy is a grade of C or better....

I dont know how to react...because I would thought that the grade policy would be the same, if business school accept C- or above, why would the university itself decline a C-? The officer told me that because it is transferred from another institution. And in my school, you can pass with a D in some courses.... I took a month long semester course that is worth 4.5 credits, and my school runs on quarter system with 4 credits..

I am sorry it is very long..but now that he rejects the transfer, that means I cannot apply to business school this fall, I have to wait a year till Im a junior to apply and I cant take any business classes. Also, I wasted thousand dollars and one month...

Do you guys think there is anybody in the university I can talk to? Maybe explain the situation or anything? It's just...I am planning my application and getting ready for everything...

Thanks!
