<p>hi,
im panicking because someone just informed me that the deadline to send october scores was the 18th. is this true? i thought i could send them when they came out since they would have been sent before the postmark nov. 1 deadline.
will it really be to late to send them when i get them on the 28th? please advise, i am having a mini heart attack because im depending on my terrible math score being significantly higher than my previous score in order for me to have a chance of admission at this school. i know they accept the nov sat, which is after the deadline.
HELP!!! my family is canadian so none of us have any idea about hows things work in terms of sats.
p.s. sorry for the typo in the thread title, if anything that should demonstrate my level of extreme panic!!!</p>
<p>Most schools accept the Oct. SAT scores for ED applicants. You can have them rush the scores which will get them there within 2 business days. Here’s the College Board link [SAT</a> Score Choice - Choose the Scores You Want To Send To Colleges](<a href=“http://sat.collegeboard.com/register/sat-score-choice]SAT”>http://sat.collegeboard.com/register/sat-score-choice) that will answer your questions. Check the schools information online or call them tomorrow to be sure.</p>
<p>What college? It makes a difference as to answer. If it is in fact one that accepts Nov tests for ED then you have absolutely no issue. Send the Oct test after the scores come out. The Oct 18 deadline was applicable only to your designating a college on your registration for the test to receive them automatically as soon as they come out (such as one of your free sends). You can always send them after they come but it costs an extra fee.</p>
<p>^ Great advice. Good luck!!</p>
