Okay so I'm a freshman and I need something to do during the summer. I want to show colleges that I'm passionate about politics, but how can I do that during the summers? What are some good programs (inexpensive) that focus on politics?

Thanks(:

Look to see if your state has a governor’s school. That’d be a great way to show leadership and political interest.

Also, depending on how much your family makes, you may be able to get some financial aid! I recieved a good deal of financial aid last year to take an online course through Northwestern’s CTD. They have a plethora of summer programs, and one may interest you. (Same for CTY at John Hopkin’s)

I plan on attending Junior Statesmen of America’s summer school this summer! There’s a freshman program. It’s pricey, but I hope to get a scholarship to cover some of the tuition and fundraise the rest!

Best of luck to you. :)

Thank you soo much and i heard about the junior statesmen program. I’ll look into some more, good luck getting the scholarship (:
