<p>I currently attend a community college in New York, where I have completed 45 credit hours with a 3.54 GPA. </p>
<p>I will be majoring in philosophy--as I feel this will be facilitative in preparing me for law school. </p>
<p>If I have outstanding rec's and essays, will I have a competitive chance of being admitted?</p>

<p>I don't know how out of state works. In state, I think you would be in very good shape. I know a number of people who transferred into Liberal Arts with lower GPAs. </p>
