HELP! Questions about AP Human Geography for those who took it last year!

If I am self-studying, is Barron’s enough to study from? Also, when should I start studying. Is a month doable? Thank you!

Bump bump help please!

I’m basically self-studying (our teacher doesn’t teach anything). Will I get a 5 from only using the Princeton Review book? I’m horrid at taking Standardized Tests by the way :/.

I don’t know about self-studying, but I got a 5 from taking the class with a good teacher and reading Barrons a week prior and doing practice tests.

I’d say if you’re self studying, and you haven’t started anything yet, its pretty borderline now could maybe get a 3 or 4 at this point.

@gnastygnorc did you feel that barrons was enough for the 5?

@lillacrose

Eh, it helped me a lot but I can’t say it got all the credit. My teacher gave me a bunch of useful stuff, including this outline of everything…just like a simple review of everything after you take the course and/or read the Barrons review.

Scroll down on this link, last post on this page of last years AP HG thread by me has all the links.

@gnastygnorc ty for the useful links! Is there anything else not in the barron’s book that I should be aware of?

@DaneBrick‌

IIRC it was more than enough, it covered more than we went over in class at the least.

@gnastygnorc‌ thank you!
