Help regarding science course selection

Hey, I’m a current sophomore and have a few questions about my course plan for my junior year. I am stuck between taking AP bio or Honors Physics. Here’s my schedule:

AP Lang
H. PreCalc
H. Physics or AP Bio
APUSH
H. Spanish 4
Band

If I took h. Physics, I could take humanities/speech and health class (required by school) in school. However, with AP bio I’d have to take those two classes over the summer (both semester long classes). This would be around $400. I don’t have too much interest in Bio, but I don’t want to shut it out just because I don’t like it. I’m planning to take AP physics my senior year, which does not require honors physics as a prerequisite.

Alternatively, I could take both AP Bio and H. Physics, and push spanish 4 to my senior year.

Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Have you taken one year of honors biology and honors chemistry already? If so, take AP biology and take AP physics 1 or honors physics your senior year. It’s generally a bad idea to interrupt the foreign language sequence so Truro take Spanish 4 after you took Spanish 3.

I’ve taken a semester of honors bio (one semester of normal bio), and a year of regular chemistry. Most of the kids in Honors Chem right now go into AP Chem, which would be almost impossible to pass if I went into it. However, a slim chance. AP Bio would be easier per say, but I don’t plan on majoring in a related field. My school only teaches AP Physics C, but usually, is taken without prior physics knowledge (must be taking Calc, however).
