Help Regarding Selection of Courses

I’m a graduate Chemical Engineer from a reputed institute in India with a decent GPA. I passed out recently in May 2018 and am currently preparing for GRE. I’m right now in a dilemma regarding the selection of course for doing Ms. I basically have two major sectors in Mind -

  1. Oil and Gas or
  2. The New Energy Focus (i.e Solar Power)
    Can anyone suggest which one might be better and what are the specific courses in it which I can take?
    And also some idea of how each sector is and what are the opportunities in each field?

This is a big decision as it will likely have a great impact on your life. We can’t predict the future. The best advice I can give is do a pro/con comparison with both.

if I were you I’d go for new energy, as that is the future of energy production on this planet, and oil and gas is the past [as well as being THE significant cause of global warming]
