So, early decision deadline for Cornell is like a week and a day away and had been waiting untill Oct. Scores to come out to send everything at once, but I read somewhere they need to arrive by the deadline.

If I sent them right now, would they arrive on time? Collegeboard says 1-2 weeks. Or would I have to rush them?

im pretty sure the scores dont have to arrive by the deadline. My counselor and all the admissions officers I have talked to have said that the application(recs, transcripts, your actual common app) has to be there by that date, but the scores can be verified with the actual reports from the collegeboard and act later on. You basically would have already given them your test scores(since it would be very bold and stupid for someone to lie in the application). they just need to verify it and off you go

If you send Oct scores when they come out, you are fine for Cornell. Cornell even takes Nov test scores for ED which aren’t released until near end of Nov.

Note that right now you can only order old scores sent. Oct 18 was last date to designate a college to automatically receive Oct scores on your registration for that test. That usually means that between Oct 18 and time when scores are released you cannot order Oct scores sent, only older scores.
