I dont know if this is "doable", however I am a mostly A and hardworking student. I won't be on a varsity team this year but plan on doing a good amount of volunteer work and being in Key Club, FCCLA, as well as co-president of the French Club.

Anyways, here it goes:
AP Bio
AP English Lit.
AP US Gov./ AP Macroeconomics (1st and 2nd semester)
AP Psychology 1st semester, the 2nd semester Comm. apps (speech)
Pre-Calculus
AP French
Model U.N.

What I am most worried about are the AP classes, will they be
too much? What is your opinion of the workload as well as just
the class itself and the exam?
I appreciate your input :)

Obviously, a very heavy workload. If you are loading up on APs to get college credit you"ll be taking 6 AP exams next May. If you won’t sit all the AP exams, then whether the rigor will mean a GPA hit, depends on your teachers’ curve.

How many APs did you take junior year and how well did you do?

It seems like a lot but I can’t say for sure if it is doable. It depends on the person :). But since you plan on volunteering I would recommend dropping one. Senior year is really stressful (from what I have heard) as you have to fill out college essays and such. But then again you can always do them in the summer. Reflect on it some more if you really want to do them then go ahead :).

I am currently a junior and I took AP World History my sophomore year and got a 4 and had an 87 average in the class. This year I took AP English Lang. , last semester I had a 91 and this semester I have a 97 so far, and I’m also in AP US this year and I had an 88 last semester and 89 so far this semester. I took both exams this year so I am waiting on the results but I am fairly certain that I did okay since I really prepared for them.

Well you’re only pulling B+ and A-'s in AP classes, so maybe you want to drop some. I’d drop either AP Bio or AP French.

actually, I’ve taken honors french my sophomore and junior years and I’ve had solid high A’s across the board, I think I’ll keep AP french as well as AP Bio because I believe bio will help me decide on whether or not I will major in a related field in college, as will AP Psych. I’m mostly worried about AP Gov and AP Macro, since history is very boring to me and might explain the B’s. Should I just drop AP Gov and AP Macro to regular and not risk low grades and a larger workload?

It’s too much. Drop Pre-Calculus. It’s way too hard.

The course load is doable, but if you’re worried about there being too much work, I would advise that you drop AP Gov/Macro, especially since - as you said - you’re not too into them. One thing to also consider with those classes is being able to remember the course material after a semester-long period of absence from the class since AP Gov and Macro are both semester classes. If you find these topics boring, it might be more difficult in trying to review all the information for the AP test in May. Personally, I found AP Psych and Bio to be extremely fascinating so the amount of reading and memorization was not an issue for me.

You could always keep the schedule you have right now and decide if AP Gov/Macro is tolerable after the first couple days of classes - if not, then you could drop them then. I had a similar experience when placed into AP English Lit. Reading was not my strong suit at all, but after giving it a fair chance, I actually found it to be more enjoyable than a regular English class because of the depth of the discussions.

I would not suggest that you drop Pre-Calculus, however, because you are going to most likely complete mathematics through Calculus in college.
