Help! Should i appeal of i got denied

I just got denied from the university of Illinois. I have a 3.2 gpa, 26 act, and am an in state student. Also my high school is known for being rlly good and competitive. I got denied from business and general studies :frowning:

There r 2 important things: my mom forgot to send in one of my act scores so it kind of looks like I lied on my application but it’s only a point difference so I don’t know if they would really care.

Also would it be better if I switched from a business major to a biology major Bc I have a lot of passion for going into medicine but I previously applied for business because my parents told me to… do you think it would be easier to get in for biology or look stupid changing majors now

There is a decision appeal form and it says it will update me in 2-4 weeks

Does anyone have any advice about this! I will appreaciate any advice and it will help a lot! Thank you

Do you have other schools as safeties?

To me your GPA looks low for UIUC. Is this weighted or unweighted?

What does it take to file an appeal? You could at least mention the ACT mess up in your appeal but I would be surprised if it makes a difference.

My gpa is defanitly a little low but it is in the range of accepted gpas on the uiuc website for the college of general studies and so it my act

And the appeal form comes up when you are denied and it says to write 300 words as to why you want to appeal or about the major you are switching into

Also I do have safety’s this is just my top choice and it’s a good financial fit
