Help to future international transfer student from US-style university

Hi guys..
I need an advice, please help me
I'm a citizen of Belarus(eastern europe), in october i will begin my studies in U.S. style university in Prague(czech republic), the full name is University of New York in Prague, but actually i will be earning a Business Administration degree of SUNY Empire State College (partnership university). According to my plans I'm going to transfer after 2nd year of studying to more prestigious college then SUNY ESC. Please reccommend me what to do these 2 years to have a good chance to transfer to a top university. I know that GPA should be good, may be you can add some more important tips? And should i pass SAT and IELTS exam? I heard that if I will be a junior student it is not required. And the last thing, financial problems, i can pay only 15-20k per year, so scholarship or financial aid is necessary, i know that chaces are low, but still i have two years to prepare, and i will do my best!
Thank you for your help!

Take the SAT. It will be necessary for most private colleges, the ones with money to give.

If I transfer as a junior, what kind of SAT should I take? I don’t have willingness to take SAT subjects, but if it is necessary I will do. I had an experience of taking IELTS, not SAT, so how long prep usually lasts?

Hey There

I taken IELTS exam 3 times and I got 4.0 twice and in third exam I got 4.5. Actually it is no more difficult, but needs more practice and again and again the exam. Here in U.S most a universities requested 5.5 or higher, So you have more business to do. Any question I am ready send to me PM.

well, I actually have 6.5, but I think that I will take TOEFL or retake IELTS to be more competetive
