My parents are middle-school dropouts, not sure if that helps.
My major is political science, minor in East Asian Studies

Any recommendations for safeties, matches, reaches? I appreciate your help
In-state, out of state, any suggestions?
everyone is competitive at my school
everyone wants to get into UCB AND UCLA
I however do not want that
Actually I just want a full ride
because i can not afford college tuition

thank you so much for your time.

Ivy League Schools
Rice
Wash U
UVA
UNC-Charlotte

basically, apply to all schools that are need blind and offer 100% met aid...

also try and take your SATs one more time or take the ACTs

It's likely that you'll get a full ride at the UCs. Remember, though, that most of what you've listed won't fit on applications (and supplemental papers aren't usually allowed).

good luck!! i won't chance you as i have no idea how to, but you seem to have good, solid stats.

what i think is pretty funny is that you were named "Mr. Tolerance" !!

Everyone sends supplementary resumes. Well, a lot of people. You should do it, too!

I don't think so... especially when 1) it's done online and you can't send supplementary papers, and 2) the app says Do not attach supplementary papers.

the common app says you can attach a resume

He didn't say if he qualifies for need based aid. Lots of people can't afford their EFC, especially CA homeowners at private colleges!

If you can't afford EFC, look at the merit aid thread on the parent's board. Basically if you have high stats, apply to schools where you would be in then top 5-10% of admits in terms of stats.
