PLEASE HELP! So I might have a D I can't come back from in a class; I'm conditionally admitted to SF State for Fall 2014. The class isn't a necessity to transfer, I'm only taking it so I can get my AA-T degree. I know if I drop I won't get the degree, will that matter? Would any W during my last semester before transfer prevent me from transferring? Please post your input/experience! I'm kind of in panic mode. Thanks!

Does anyone have any input about this? Please! I’m really afraid. The drop deadline is in five days and I don’t know if I can pull my grade up or if I should drop. :(

I’m in the same situation as you. I took an extra class to show schools i can challenge myself but the amount of work required for that one class is overkill and even though i currently have an A i could very easily get an F because of the professor’s strange grading policy. The last day to drop is today or tomorrow and im not sure if i should.

I know for a fact that Uconn and stony brook university told me getting a W wont affect my chances for acceptance as long as my gpa is still good.

But SF state isn’t as good as uconn or stonybrook so I can’t imagine them denying you for a W.

similar situation but I wasn’t planning on getting my AA so it might be different. I emailed SFSU and they said as long as I have over 60 units and completed the golden 4 it won’t matter. I’d call them up since your situation is slightly different

the golden 4?
