Help! Weight of Interview in Admissions Process?

I applied to Bryn Mawr College regular decision, but I realized today that I missed the interview deadline date.

I originally planned on having an interview, but I wasn’t aware that I had to complete them by the application deadline. It was an irresponsible act on my part, but I’m really worried.

BMC says that interviews are “strongly reccomended” – which means that you pretty much have to do one (I think).

How significant is the interview in the application process? Will it really lower my chances of getting in if I didn’t have one?

If I could get a couple of responses that would be greatly appreciated.

The way it was explained to me is that it just another part that helps your admissions officer understand who you are. Much like if you don’t submit test scores, if you don’t have it, they just don’t consider it.

I got in ED without an interview - I agree with wolfy321 here.
