Help! Which of my scores is better...SAT/ACT?

The main college I'm hoping to get into (so far) asks for the SAT --OR-- the ACT w/ writing. (My scores are below). But I'm not sure which of my scores on the tests are more impressive. Which should I submit? I'd be applying to higher end state school, and maybe some harder-to-get-into private schools.

I'm also wondering if I have any chance of getting into an Ivy League, or if that's a little unrealistic. I'd love to go somewhere impressive like that. I'm a Junior. My GPA for first semester was 3.95. I have extra-curric's (Softball, Student Council), around 140-150 volunteer hours, and I have an "attention grabber"--was on a Tornado disaster relief team Sophomore year, traveling internationally this summer for medical trip.

I got an 1850 on the SAT.

Writing-640 (Essay scored an 8)

And I got a 26 on the ACT.

your act is slightly higher at roughly 84th percentile vs your sat at about 82nd percentile

Actually, your SAT score is almost 100 points above your ACT.

26 = 1770.

At an Ivy League, your score would be below 10%, so you would probably want to take it again next year (you can improve a lot from then).

I used the ACT and college boards information as well, and tabulated her area score percentiles.

Chloe, regardless of whether you chose to gauge ‘better’ by percentile or estimate, it’s true that prepping and retaking one or both is a good idea.

I’ll be super blunt, so don’t be too sensitive, BUT, with your current stats, you don’t have any chances for an Ivy League School. As for improvement, your SAT is better, so I recommend retaking that
