Hi all. So I just found out I was accepted for Spring of 2012 but I realized late last night that I unintentionally left something out of my application. I went to GMU for a year and did poorly, then I moved to Florida a few months later (this was in 2004) and I registered at a CC in Florida for two classes but withdrew shortly thereafter because of my work schedule at the time. I have since been finishing my AA at a CC in VA. I sent my new school all my transcripts but I forgot about the two classes from the CC in Florida. Last night I was in a panic and checked and while my name is in their system, it just says W for both classes. I am wondering if I should go to my new school and tell them my mistake and explain what happened but I am terrified that they are going to think I was hiding something or trying to lie. They say on their website/application that all "previously attended" school transcripts must be sent. Technically I didn't actually attend this CC but I did register and then withdraw. I'm really stressed and completely freaking out. Can anyone please offer any advice??

Call the school immediately. Don’t ask people on CC if a college would want to know that information. Ask the college itself. Their office of admissions is probably closed today so call them first thing in the morning. Likely they won’t revoke your acceptance but you should still let them know.

I was just asking for opinions and advice, mostly because I cannot contact the school until tomorrow morning. I thought that was the point of these forums.

What school? There is a lot of knowledge on CC, but it is impossible to help without knowing the specific school. There are a lot of schools where it won’t matter.

You don’t have to be rude. I read your response and I understand perfectly well what you said. Quoting yourself only sounds ridiculous.

The school I was accepted to is JMU.
