Help with bad scores and general questions

Hey all, I just got my AP score report in the mail today and I'm very disappointed. I was a junior this year and I only took three exams (APUSH, English Literature, and Spanish Language). Despite being a very very nervous test taker I was confident that I would get a 5 on APUSH, a 4 on English Literature, and a 4 on Spanish Language. I didn't feel that I would get a 5 in Lit because of some crappy teacher preparation (or lack thereof) in the multiple choice department and I felt I wouldn't do well in the spoken section of Spanish Language (I'm much better when writing the language as opposed to speaking it).

Well it turns out that I got a 5 in APUSH, a 3 in Lit and a 2 in Spanish... Very disappointing in general and especially for a perfectionist. I would never have thought I'd get a 3 let alone a 2.

So now I guess I'm kind of wondering what I should do. I think some of my confusion stems from my ignorance of reporting AP scores so for clarification: Can you receive college credit for two AP tests in the same area? For example: I'm going to be taking English Language and Spanish Literature next year; if I take those AP exams and get 5's on them will I only receive credit for those exams or could I receive credit for English Lit AND English Language / Spanish Lit AND Spanish Language? If this is the case then I would probably be taking Lit and Language in both English and Spanish next year, if not I guess I could just take the exams next year and do better on them.

Also for clarification: AP scores serve no role in the application process (except for certain top-tier schools) correct? So I can just send my scores to my chosen university after I have been accepted only as a means to receive college credit?

If I re-take the English Lit and Spanish Language tests can I just self-report the newer, better scores or is a full transcript of all past scores required? Or does it even matter? If it's only for credit and I re-take the exams and score well enough for credit then them seeing that I got a 3 and a 2 shouldn't have any effect at all right?

Sorry for all of the questions but I'm very disappointed and stressed out because I thought I did a lot better than I really did... Thanks in advance.

You can self-report scores on the Common App.

You can ask for rescoring if you believe that you really shouldn’t have gotten those scores.

It might look strange if the cllss shows up on your transcript but you don’t report the score.

So uh how does that affect me…? Are you saying that I can put my good AP scores on the Common App to help me get in and leave the others out completely (such that AP scores can only be beneficial in the admission process)?

^Yes, that’s what 082349 means.
