<p>so i am applying to cu boulder and the essay is prompt is..The University of Colorado at Boulder's Flagship 2030 strategic plan promotes exceptional teaching, research, scholarship, creative works, and service distinguishing us as a premier university. We strive to foster a diverse and inclusive community for all that engages each member in opportunities for academic excellence, leadership, and a deeper understanding of the world in which we live. Given the statement above, how do you think you could enrich our diverse and inclusive community and what are your hopes for your college experience?</p>

<p>Because I am just an ordinary white girl, I feel it is somewhat hard for me to express my diversity..does anyone have any ideas?</p>

<p>There are many kinds of diversity. There’s geographic diversity – are you from another part of the country? Are you rural/urban/suburban? Were you homeschooled at all or did you take online classes? Are you a female interested in engineering? Are you particularly artistic? Do you work for a cause? Can you write about insights you have gained from any volunteer activities? Look at the school’s website, find its student profile and emphasize those characteristics which will make you stand out as being different.</p>
