Help With College Search

Hello,

I'm going into my Jr. year in High School and I figure now is the time to start making my college list. Obviously High School isn't over but I think I can make a fairly accurate prediction as to what's in store for me.

Honor's Diploma
GPA: 3.8 unweighted, 4.1 Weighted
14-15 AP Courses mostly 3 and 4's on tests. Plus multiple Honor's Course's
LANG: SPAN. IV, FRENCH II
SAT: 1900-2200
ACT: 29-30
EC'S: Sound Board Operator for school and community theater, 4 year tenure as Student Adviser to the towns Public Art's Commission, Science Fair award at Intel Sci. Fair, small amount of volunteer work for local politician

When searching for a college I would prefer a large college, in a large city. I would like the university to have a good Poli. Sci and English department.

There's bound to be some college that I've overlooked, so any suggestions are much appreciated.

Thank you,

What is your home state? What can your family afford for school?

Look at Boston University, George Washington U, NYU, and USC. They are all big, have a wide range of options, and in major cities.

Also, look into Pittsburgh.

I’m middle-class from Oregon, both parents went to UC Berkley.

Also, thank you for the list, I’ll look into them. I was thinking NYU previously.

Obviously UO and OSU. You can get good Poly Sci and English at most universities. NYU will offer you very little money. Have your parents saved $200K for your education?
