Help with Common App

I'm a transfer applicant. On the common app, it asks about the number of high schools I attended. I attended one high school for 3.5 years up until January of my senior year when I gave birth.

After giving birth, I started the second semester doing home study from another school in the same district that specializes in situations like this.

However, I got to graduate with my original high school and the diploma was from the original high school as well. But the last report card I ever got was issued by the home study school.

So do I put that I attended one or two school? When I send in my high school transcripts, they will see that the last report card came from a different school right?

Is this considered interruption of education which I have to explain in the additional information?

You attended 2 schools officially. Send both transcripts. You will have to decide for yourself how much to discuss the circumstances surrounding why you have the academic record that you do. I am sure that admissions counselors have seen transcripts like yours in the past and it is not an issue.

If you do decide to explain, then don’t make it the focal point of your essays. The university wants to know how your life experiences translate into your determination and ability to succeed in your studies so focus on that.
