I am a Cali resident who attends a tough public high school. My GPA is 3.4 UW/3.9 W. If grades from senior year count, then the weighted GPA should be higher since I will be taking 5 AP classes. My SAT score as of now is 1900, but I will score at least 2100 when I retake it. As for SAT 2's, 800 for IIC, 750 for Physics, and 750 for US History. I'm hoping to improve the 750's as well. Based on those stats, can you guys give me matches and safeties? Also, I am going for premed and it does not matter whether colleges are in state or out of state. Thanks.

You'd probably be fine at UCLA, USC, UCI, UCSD, UCSB

Any matches that are out of state?

Case Western, maybe?

tell us more about what you are looking for: preference for size of school? location (area of country AND rural/urban/suburban)? any other personal preferences (i.e. preppy, arsty, jocks, conservative, liberal, etc etc etc etc)?

I don't really have a preference for size. As for location, I guess urban or suburban would be fine. Suggestions for matches/safeties do not necessarily have to be in California. I would like to do research on out of state schools. (School assignment)

And assemo, is my GPA high enough for Case Western?

Miami University (Ohio)

I think so... and if you could get your SATs up to a 2100+ you could probably get quite a bit of financial aid.
