Help with mid year reports for NYU!!!

NYU requires mid year report. But my weighted GPA dropped from 98 first quarter to 95 second quarter. Here are my grades:
AP Gov- 91-> 78 (67 midterm)
AP Environmental- 86 -> 85 (85 midterm)
AP Chemistry- 90 -> 88 (84 midterm)
AP English- 95 -> 93 (no midterm)
AP Spanish- 95-> 97 (no midterm)
Calculus- 91 -> 83 (no midterm)
Do you guys think colleges will revoke my admissions? Btw I have missed a lot of school due to family problems. Thanks for the help!

It’s natural to be anxious. But re-read what you just wrote:

Will a college (that will receive over $200,000.00 from me) REVOKE my admission because MY GPA DROPPED THREE PERCENTAGE POINTS?

I’m just scared that my grade from apgov, a 13 point drop, will has some sort a influence.

Don’t let it slip to a D or F and you’re fine

As far as i heard, many colleges don’t care too much if you dropped abit. Just don’t fail and it’s all good

No, I do not think they would rescind over a marginal shift. But please remembr you are expected to maintain the standards of academics that were the part of your college application in the first place. They would like to see you continue with the hardwork while also being familiar with ‘senioritis’, specially relevant to ED applicants. So just buckle up and since you worry about this, you are going to fine.

D was accepted ED 1 last year at NYU. She was struggling with AP Bio and her 2nd quarter grade was barely passing. Guidance called the school and was advised not to worry and as a matter of fact, they did not even have time to look at midyear grades for ED students becauase they were so caught up in reviewing RD applications. They advised to not bother sending in the mid year grade!

So with her guidance counselor’s support the mid year grade report was never sent. Of course, NYU expected final grades and by that time her bio grade had risen. (Still low 70’s though.) D never heard anything about it though.

In your situation, you have nothing to worry about! (Whether you send or not.)

You guys were all such enormous help. Thank you :)
