<p>Can any one tell me about the criteria required to receive the following scholarships:</p>
<p>Office of Admissions Alumni Scholarship: $8,000 per year
Sunshine Scholarship: $16,000 per year
Orange and Blue Scholarship: $19,000 per year
Gator Nation Scholarship: $20,000 per year</p>
<p>We were also wondering about this…My D will need to receive one of these scholarships in order to make U Fla affordable.</p>
<p>The admissions office goes through all of the applications, evaluates and makes offers.</p>

<p>Does UF send a merit package after you are admitted or do you have to wait for it come with the financial aid packet.</p>
<p>It’s hard to make decision with so little information. A little annoying.deadlines are upon us.</p>
<p>I completely agree with you Idarose, I will call admissions Monday and ask them about this and hopefully share the information with you guys.</p>
<p>I called admissions already and got no answer that is helpful. They said it is a holistic approach and you will hear in the spring. End of march, beginning of April. I feel badly for my daughter because this is holding up decisions big time! She got onto Michigan but we can only let her go there if she doesn’t get &$$ from Florida cause it would be hard to pass up. Their awards are usually very generous.</p>
<p>@ mfjas- would guess you need to at least get an invite for honors program. Any indication as to minimum act, sats. 2070, 33/ 4.0 GPA like honor requirements?</p>

<p>got an email today that I received the Gator Nation Scholarship for 20k per year :)</p>
<p>No scholarship notification = no Florida :(</p>
