Ok so my moderator wants me to find a speech from my country's (Sudan) president about my topics - refugees and sex trafficking. I've been looking everywhere and Im getting irritated. Anyone able to help?

Nah, I think that your the one who wanted an EC. If this were a required school assignment, I would help, but it's your EC advantage not mine.

Ah, Sudan generally tries to avoid dicussing those issues.

Here's a statement by al-Bashir about the Darfur conflict, not necessarily refugees specifically:

Does it have to be by al-Bashir? It might be easier to get statements by other representatives of Sudan on these issues (on the UNHCR, UNCHR, etc.).

sittingbull. i dont need an explanation if u cant help just dont. and savoirfaire..thanks i appreciate it. I think he said a speech by some Sudanese government official, not necessarily the president, although i am not sure. eh o well thanks for the help anyway!

The Darfur speech references IDPs (internally displaced people), which are like refugees except that they do not cross borders:

Third: An immediate commencement of handling the humanitarian conditions involving the Internally Displaced Persons and those affected by the events. A quick action plan is to be established with the aim of reconstructing and resettling the IDPs into their villages and nomadic habitats.
