<p>I chose the prompt "Describe the world you come from - for example, your family, community or school - and tell us how your world has shaped your dreams and aspirations."</p>
<p>I was going to choose to write about my family. My dad had cancer and passed away from it, and that really affected my life (obviously), so I was going to write about how that shaped my goals and taught me to work hard and learn/do as much as I can, to my fullest potential. Also how it helped me realize that I want a career where I can benefit and help other people in some way. And then I thought I could write about my mom and how she had to raise kids alone, work two jobs, etc. and how that made me want to have that same strength and incorporate it into whatever career I have.</p>
<p>Also, my dad dropped out of high school his junior year, and my mom never finished college, so I would be the first to get a college diploma. I wanted to incorporate that somehow, but I'm not sure it'd fit..I have no idea what to write.</p>
<p>Does any of this sound like a good idea? I'm realy not sure what to write about, and I really need this essay to be amazing, considering how important it is.
