Help! worth transfer to WashU engineering?

I am currently sophomore at George Washington University studying biomedical engineering.
I got accepted at Washington University in St.Louis for spring in biomedical engineering.
The problem is washu hardly gave me any financial award. I have to pay $30k/year and my expected family contribution is $0.

Is it worth getting $75k in loans to go to washu? I am also planning to go to graduate school or med school.

anyone....?

Ok, I think WashU engineering school isn't really that good. But I am not sure about Biomedical Engineering Major...this is because it's related to medicine and WashU has an excellent medical school.
About your financial aid...I know one transfer student who decided to go to WashU despite getting very little financial aid. But, in his first semester in WashU, he went to the
financial aid office and showed them his 'wealth'...and WashU decided to offer him a lot more financial aid.

Btw, WashU has a great campus and conducive environment. Also, one thing that I've noticed is that almost all of its students are very happy with the quality of life they have.

I hope this helps. =)

I think biomedical engineering is the forte of the engineering school.
Do you know if that transfer student got scholarships or loans? Do you know if it's guaranteed they'll give me more need base grants? Did financial aid office re-evaluated his fafsa and css profiles?
my enrollment deadline is in like 2 days...i'm really really hesitating of accepting and going.

Thks!

I think he got financial aid without having to give back anything to the school. I'm not american so not sure about financial aid thingy..

no no no no!

Ok, since you're planning to go to grad school. I think it won't make much difference if you apply using your bachelor degree from GWU or WashU. GWU is a fine university. Plus...it's much more famous I think.
