Hi everyone! I'm currently freaking out. I'm going to be hopefully attending UPenn in the Fall as a Freshman. This morning I just noticed that I self-reported one of my AP scores incorrectly. My actual score was a 3 and I reported a 4. You don't have to tell me; I know this was stupid, careless, and irresponsible. My question is, what should I do now? Will an email suffice or will they rescind my admission?

They will not likely rescind. But you should notify them. Will you be using the score to get credit or placement? In that case, you need to send the formal score anyway. But I would tell them.

Well, I got 5’s on many AP tests this year and a few 5’s from sophomore/junior year, so I sent my entire scoring history(Penn literally only takes 5’s hahaha). This test, though, in particular doesn’t qualify me for ANY credit (I needed a 5). I just didn’t want my carelessness to be construed as dishonesty

You’ll be fine. Send them a note that you found a mistake in your app and want to correct it.

They dont even count them so whatever
