I recently applied to Rice University for regular admission. I thought I was completely done with the application and the recommendations, but I've just realized I may have forgotten to send in several items. Is there any way that I can check with Rice to see if my application is complete? I've tried searching the website, and I can't seem to find anything. It's getting really close to the deadline, and I'm worried I may have no chance of getting accepted to Rice because my application isn't complete. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!!

They will send you an email eventually that gives you an ID and password to a site that lets you check your admission status. On there, you can find out what their admission office has recieved, because there is a list of things that they need and a status column that reads "complete" or "incomplete." For ED it took them quite a while to email me though, if you are still worried about it I would call the admissions office.

Good luck!

Thanks!! I really hope I get that e-mail soon!

Rice is kinda slow on their emails. I turned in my app about 3 or 4 weeks ago but haven't gotten an email yet. When did you apply? I would call the admissions office to be safe.

When I was applying ED, I turned my app in a week before the deadline and didn't get an e-mail until 2 weeks afterwards. Just to make sure, follow everybody's advice and CALL! :)

Thanks for the advice. I'll make sure to call before it's too late!

Yeah, that would be better than calling. I called them yesterday to see if they had gotten my enrollment deposit and the guy said they had hundreds of letters to review, so calling would definitely be the better option.
