This fall I will be a sophomore at Marist College. I had submitted my Fafsa around january, it was until now that I realized that I had forgotten about TAP. I just finished submitting the application. I'm nervous I was too late to receive financial aid for this fall semester. I check my aid year through the website, and I had no current messages about my financial aid just an email about Fall 2012 tuition bill. Should I email the college and figure out my application?

Call your financial aid office at Marist and ask. It always surprises me that students are afraid to contact their financial aid offices and ask questions.

Now that it’s getting closer to the fall start date, they will be really busy. Wasn’t TAP just an electronic checkmark on the FAFSA form??? Monies always run out, that’s why you have to ask. Otherwise, I think you need to pay your tuition bill.

I don’t think NYS TAP would run out. The deadline for 2012-2013 TAP is 6/30/2013.
