Helped a confused and distressed freshman :(

I'm currently a 2nd sem. freshman at Fordham university. It's not a bad school but I just can't see myself here for the next 3 years.
Anyways I managed to get a sweet GPA first semester, and saw an ample opportunity to transfer to a school more suited for me. Fordham's a bit of a small school and very commuter heavy, so when all of the tri-state area kids go home on the weekends (and alot do), the campus is pretty much DEAD on the weekends.Im trying to transfer to a larger school with a great business program, perhaps a state school, with plenty of student generated activities and hopefully much better nightlife.
Anyways here are my stats:

College GPA: 3.87
HS GPA: 3.55 (low point of application) from a highly regarded extremely competitive high school that doesn't rank
8 APs. graduated w/ advanced diploma
SAT:1400/2030 (700/700/630)
ACT:31
2 SAT IIs: 710 Math II, 750 US History

some pretty decent extracurriculars.just a bit too lazy to list all of them in detail
Varsity Tennis since 9th grade. All county starter, captain senior year
designed websites for clubs in High School
involved in developing a succesful iPhone app w/ more than 20,000 users
volunteered at a Russian school to teach little kids how to speak Russian (I'm Russian, take it at advanced level at Fordham, and plan to minor in it)
Taught tennis at summer camp for a few summers

Also, I'm sure I can get two REALLY good recs.
I had one prof. for two of my classes and got an A in both of them. Developed a good relationship with him, and he seems to be excited to write me a rec.
same with 2nd professor, whose class I also aced.

anyways here are some of the schools I've been looking at
UT-Austin (McCombs)
NYU Stern
UNC-CH
Emory
BU SMG
Georgetown
UMichigan
UMD

any other schools you guys can suggest?
perhaps some definite safeties as most of those schools were high match/reach for me when I was applying in HS, but idk how much my college GPA/recs can help me out.

wow even misspelled the thread title, should be “HELP a confused and distressed freshman”
must be pretty tired heh

Highly recommend UT-Austin and NYU on this one. The first more so than the latter imho. Austin is a happening town and if you are looking for somewhere that will help you drop your gpa like a hot rock due to distraction then Austin is it.
