How can I convince my parents to let me stay out all night prom night?

Sneak out (and don't get caught).

tell them that it is a culmination of your entire hs career and that it is commonly considered to be one of the most important. The only question your children and grandchildren will ask you about your time in HS will be about prom.

(that said, I'm not going to prom...)

Say you'll be out late anyway and say you're staying at a friend's house.

Where I go they have an afterparty at school and make you stay until breakfast. They call it Best & Last of All Senior Times (BLAST). I'd call it hell. shudder

Well, you could pull the "I'm sleeping over at soandso's house excuse," basically what War just said. It has worked for me in other situations but has its risks. Be careful!

haha how do you sneak outif your already out? and im a junior, so the whole high school career thing doenst work..

well yea we have an afterprom party too, they wont even let me go to that...

it depends what your going to do after the prom, probably

sex on prom night is so corny

hey I didnt say anything YOU brought it up

lol

Are you kidding? That is THE most creative, most romantic night to lose it! Why else would there be 18 gazillion movies about it? Haha.

lol!
martha, you tickle me pink

are you insinuating that i would joke?

i think i am

btw its very strange that your name just happens to be lights out and you claim to not want to do something that your name implies you do.........

im stopping right there
sorry for that

lol

how does lights_out make you think of that? i believe you just have a nasty mind lol

is lights out not doing any business?

yeah, i see the eye-runy.

haha ok i see wheree someone could get that, but it's really far from that, it's a basketball thing...

oh, wow, sex on prom night is so cliche... do it the night before...

hehehe, jk,jk

but, just explain to your parents that they did a wonderful job in raising you. and that because of their guidance and teachings, you feel that you are responsible enough and fully equipped enough to battle the peer pressures of drugs, drinking, and sex. thus, they have nothing to fear by letting you stay out on prom night...

really? even that didn't work for me. I was home at 1 AM (really 12, but the time changed)..... i'll go out after senior prom.
