<p>my parents are the most ridiculous people ever.
they said "when ur a second semester senior, you're allowed to have some fun! hang out with ur friends over the wekend"
ok, to start off . that's like pathetic. OH JOY i am finally given the privilege to have a social life now that i am free from the jails of my own home.</p>
<p>so i ask my dad in early februrary "can i goto the movies with my friend" and he goes "well no, it's valentine's day and there's a lot of traffic at the mall"
so i tell him that valentine's day is next week.
and he just insists taht there is traffic in the mall.
so i tell him that im going to the movies.
and he says "well you can get in a car accdient. didnt u say your movie was at 7 PM? its too dark and unsafe to be in a car at that time. lots of drunkg driving teens can be careless on the road."</p>
<p>so i coudlnt go to the movies.</p>
<p>ive gone to the movies maybe 1-2 times per year. </p>
<p>GOD FORBID i ask them to go to the movies the last day of school.
they'll probably say "ji-sook didn't you already go to the movies back in december? you can't go. i think you're having WAYYYY too much fun as a student."</p>

<p>when my parents are mad at me, its bc they totally misintierpret me or we have severe micommunication. and when i try to calmly reason it out, they just say im lying and lazy and call me all sorts of profanity in korean.
i once used a word to my relatives in korea bc i grew up haering it all the time. and they wer elike "omg dont say that! that's sucha bad word" and i had no idea.
my parents are SUCH good examples. they teach me new words.

<p>but honestly, urgh im going to die of a brain hemorrhege today ( cant type/spell today) bc my "dad" ****ed me off so much that i just went psycho.
he ALWAYS yells at me before some MAJOR test/audition i have. it'sl ike he wants me to do badly/fail by yeling at me the day befor some major event just so he can screw up my mind.</p>
<p>like last year the day before my history final, my parentse kicked me out of the house bc of the most stupidest reason i dont even understand why to this day. i told them i need to study and they said "study? you dont need to study. you're going to fail in life anyway. you're alreadya failure. dont yuou dare pick up yourbooks or im going to cut off yhour hand" and they just kicked me and stepped on my hand so i couldnt pick up my books. they said "go leave the house surivive on your own we dont want yuou here" and then they made me come back home and kneel on my knees adn apologize (for waht? who the **** konws).</p>
<p>no sorry supermodel. i cannot see where those girl's parents are coming from. mine are a little reasonable, i guess most parents have a little problem with lettin their kids loose all night long, but a MOVIE? making her kneel on her knees? give me a break. (no offense to your parents cookiemonster)</p>

my dad excommunicated me for saying "I dont feel like it, why dont you ask me later" in an OBVIOUSLY sarcastic tone
and he was all "are u nuts? who do u think ur talkin 2?"</p>
<p>and it usu sucks bc 60% of the time, my mom is on good terms with me. then my dad , like a pussy, brings up some **** that he in his thickheaded mind believes was atrocious of me, and he goes and blabs to my mom and then my mom , who was nice to me a minute ago, hears my dad's overtly horrid account of my outrageous behavoir and both start yelling at me. it's ****.</p>
<p>ouch. my dad yells a bunch but my mom is usually on my side and sticks up for me. it's worse that you're an only child, probably while they have such high standards and rules for you.</p>

oh yea, at the uchicago overnite program, my dad kept saying how i was actinig like a baby, cuz i was depending on my parents for evthing.
he kept saying "DO SMOETHING ON YOUR OWN FOR ONCE. STOP ASKING US FOR PERMISSION"
and so i told my dad that a campus tour was startig in 5 min. he left to go to the restroom. 1hour later i come gback and hes like "WHERE WERE YOU WHY DID YOU LEAVE WITHOUT TELLING ME? DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT YOU JUST DID" etcetcetc.
soooo illogical my dad's logic is full of *</em></strong>.</p>
<p>they do that for my brother. my mom is ALWAYS on his side, no matter what. and they somehow turn whatever they argue about and twist it to make me the criminal</p>
<p>this is why being a guy is cool. I can honestly say I spent prom night at a party, and slept in the same bed as a *girl<a href="oh%20no">/i</a></p>
<p>tues night I slept on a (different) girl's couch. Went to school on wed too lol.</p>
<p>Anway, yeah just because its prom doesn't mean you'll have sex, or even go home with a guy, or to a party, or whatever.</p>
<p>My parents know where I am when i'm partying, etc etc, they'd rather me do those things and have them know than sneak out and be unsafe while doing it.</p>
<p>Prom was just the same, left at 5pm, came home at 1pm the next day, took some tylenol and went back to bed :D</p>
